(P.I. Martín Martinez Ripoll)

This laboratory provides a well equipped environment for studies on the three dimensional atomic structure of biological macromolecules using diffraction data. The group has a large experience in fundamental crystallography and diffractometry.

The laboratory has facilities for the preparation and characterization o proteins and protein solutions, two rotating anode automatic diffractometers, two workstation clusters for structural solution and scientific computing and a large experience in macromolecular crystallography data processing, data acquisition y large facilities and in crystallographic databases.

The research lines of the group are:

  • Single Crystal Diffractometry
  • Crystallographic Computing
  • Protein and Small Molecule Crystallography
  • Structural Databases
